Just dropping a quick line to let you know that our wedding on Friday was amazing!! Everything was perfect, Emma and the other waitress were awesome, and their attention to detail was amazing, making sure our personalised champagne flutes were always topped up and were accounted for at all times. They were great at safely packing up all our stuff too and packaging up our donuts to take home. The food was great too! All of our guests enjoyed the food and the venue! I will not hesitate to recommend in the future.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and making our day magical. The food was fantastic, The service was outstanding and there is nothing that we could fault at all. It was the perfect location.

The only thing that we may have changed was with the DJ. the sound system he used wasn't that good, and the sound system that you guys use sounded a lot better. So for future events that’s something I would probably suggest to use your sound system.

But from your end you made it so easy and Simon and I could both enjoy our night, without having to worry about a thing.

Firstly, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! You and the team throughout our entire wedding planning process were absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating. When the time finally came to enjoy our reception at Hemingway’s you did not disappoint!

The staff and the food were absolutely incredible, we had many compliments from our guests on the food and venue. The service provided by the staff on the night was impeccable, the bar staff were kind enough to come over to our table and ask what we’d like to drink to save us getting back up when we’d entered the reception and always made sure we were topped up on water or more drinks. We are so glad we chose Hemingway’s Port Douglas as our venue! From the bottom our hearts thank you, you and your team made our day incredible and we can’t wait to re-visit you guys again soon!

A huge thank you to the entire Hemingway Crew in ensuring our wedding reception was as we wanted. We truly appreciated all the detail from suggesting a grooms choice of beer, food variations to meet dietary considerations, ensuring access for disabled guests, great beverage and food selection, which was served by happy, attentive and friendly staff. The in house sound system worked well for both music, and our speech. We wanted an understated casual reception where guests could mingle in a manner reflective of our lifestyle in FNQ, and you certainly delivered. Sincerest thanks.

We would just like to say that we are so thankful that we picked Hemingways for our Reception.

The room looked amazing on the night and the wait staff and Emma were so coordinated and helpful on the night! It was amazing to walk in and everyone was so friendly and willing to help with even the oddest requests.

The only complaint we received on the night was that, there was too much Food! Which I am taking as a complement to our planning. The food was great and there was plenty for people to have their fill and not feel like they walked away hungry (I have in fact been to a few weddings that we had to get fast food on the way home!).
